Canadian author Tim Durling’s latest book covers the albums of NIGHT RANGER. This almost makes me want to go back and fill in the gaps in my NR collection (which is just half of the band’s 13 records discussed here). Night Ranger emerged in 1982, and were a bit unique (IMO) – not quite ‘metal and not overly AOR, but they strung together a lengthy cool list of hits including rockers and power ballads during the ’80s like “Four In The Morning”, “Sentimental Street”, “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me”, and “Sister Christian”. Brad Gillis, of course, was loaned out to Ozzy Osbourne and played on Ozzy’s best ‘live’ album, while Jack Blades went on to numerous other band and writing projects including Damn Yankees, Shaw/Blades, Alice Cooper…
Anyway, looking forward to reading this (and Phil Aston’s forward). Now available on Amazon!

Mine will be arriving today. Can’t wait as Night Ranger is one of my favorites.
