MICK MASHBIR – releases new album

American guitarist/songwriter MICK MASHBIR has released his 2nd solo album, available on Youtube so far. For anyone wondering, Mashbir was a touring guitarist for ALICE COOPER in 1973-74, and contributed to the albums Billion Dollar Babies and Muscle Of Love, as well as solo albums from AC bandmembers Michael Bruce and Neal Smith. Strungout On Strings is his follow up to 2007’s Keepin’ The Vibe Alive.

Strungout On Strings features 12 tracks, including 2 from his previous album (“Hold On” and “American Weirdo”), which have been updated for this release. This is a pretty varied set, with early favorite being the hard rocker “Here In The Flesh”. There’s a few cool instrumental cuts as well, such as “Memnochs Blues” and “Compassion”. Well worth checking out!

“SOS streams on YouTube which is my preferred platform to experience my project since the visuals are an integral part of my project. It’s not the traditional approach at all…the vids are part of the musical experience not a distraction but an enhancement. This is the single American Weirdo. Weirdo and Hold On are comments on the current vibe and headspace here in the USA.  For audio only streaming, SOS is on Spotify, Amazon Music, iTunes, Deezer, iHeart Radio, Tidal, 7Digital and about 10 others… some  are international that aren’t available from the USA….No plans for physical distribution.

*More from Mick in the near future.
